Pregnancy X-litter

Our X-litter arrived!

There is always a first time... After 24 years of breeding we had now to rush to the vet clinic for our first c-section as the first puppy of 8 was so poorly positioned that we weren't able to manage it in a different way.

But Mom and puppies are doing fine and we now have 7 healthy and vivid puppies.

Our "Easter eggs" are 4 boys (3 liver spotted, one pf them patched, and one black spotted) and 3 girls (2 black spotted and one liver spotted).

The last week begun. Lava is still happy and active...

7th week

We have got a security vest which was too large for the neighbour's dog. Who could wear this better than a big momma?

Some gardening has to be done

6th week

In the meantime the baby belly is clearly visible. Lava is still happy and active, she just starts to be a liiitle bit slower...

5th week

Lava is of course still active and vivid. There is still nothing to "see", but this will change soon. We enjoy the spring weather we have at least sometimes...in between there is a lot of time for relaxing and cuddles

Was wir vermutet haben, ist nun Gewissheit: wir erwarten um Ostern unseren X-Wurf.
