We have fun in the puppy room! The puppies explore a lot, they have to face several accoustic input, e.g. daily vacuum cleaning, we have visitors and also Abs and Rani help entertaining the little ones. Lava does also enjoy a calm moment in my office, shared with her best buddies and without kids.
We spotted something very special: this little guy takes the X-litter thing really serious! No question that his name has to be "Assiduitas X Marks The Spot"!

Today was a very exciting day! The puppies moved to the puppy house as they have quite active moments already and needed more space. After the first reluctant step out of the bed they checked the whole room quickly and enjoyed all the things to explore. Abs and Rani were joining them, too, and all had lots of fun.
The pups love their puppy basket and try all strange sleeping positions possible.
The owner od daddy TJ also visited us today and brought a handmade octopus, which is mainly a pillow at the moment but also had to face some chewing puppy jaws already...
Later they also got the first meal from a bowl (so far only out of my hand), which was another huge excitement.

Lava and her seven puppies are doing great! The puppies increased her weight above-average and Lava is a very relaxed, but lovingly caring Mom. She is also fit and happy and very are very satisfied with the wound from her surgery which is healing well.
I couldn't resist... Happy Easter!
Our X-litter arrived!

Nanny Naemi also loves puppy cuddles and Lava seems to be happy about some support.
Meanwhile some eyes opened and there is a lot of "talking" and walking around.

I took the "good camera" today.....just some cute pics.
If the weather is fine when we are having a quick walk outside with Lava, she enjoys lying down in the yard. She is not very fond of warmth, so she enjoys being outside the whelping box.
Now there is some mobility progress in little ones. They still don't see anything, but they start "talking", toddling around and sniffing.
Lots of action means a lot of hunger and fatigue.

Our puppies are growing nicely and doubled their weight easily. Lava is a totally relaxed and gorgeous mom. We spend a lot of time cuddling the puppies...puppy smell is just something special!

We have got a security vest which was too large for the neighbour's dog. Who could wear this better than a big momma?

In the meantime the baby belly is clearly visible. Lava is still happy and active, she just starts to be a liiitle bit slower...
5th week
Lava is of course still active and vivid. There is still nothing to "see", but this will change soon. We enjoy the spring weather we have at least sometimes...in between there is a lot of time for relaxing and cuddles
